History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Trey was born with his father's beautiful face. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Smoking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now owns her own business.

Description: This woman stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She tends to wear a white poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Vanchu's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. A true patriot, Vanchu would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
