Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Carter. He has worked as a Carter like his mother before him.

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She was born in a small island village. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and many dire rats want her driven away

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with red colored cloaks and clothing. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Halflings. Her skin is light but she possesses many green ritualistic tattoos. She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She keeps her long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
