History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
