Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Oren was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mary was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
