History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Navigator mother left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Assassin responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: She was born in a small desert village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
