Personality: He is happy with his job as a Shepherd. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mortician. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
