History: Morana lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
