History: She comes from a rich western family. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Xappan is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and sabotage a competitor

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
