History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hatae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gimgen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gimgen took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
