Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, he wears brown robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a lance, but if one is not available he will default to his whip. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a sickle on his belt. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Ernest was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ernest decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sailor but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lavinia grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing her hectic life and new sailor responsibilities is difficult

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
