History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Engraver. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and balancing her hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult
