She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears skinny pants and wears a red and tan robe with the hood down. She has dyed her greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His black hair is still thick. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Kildrak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Description: A 4'1" eastern man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is greedy
