History: She comes from a rich western family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want her driven away

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Grai fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Berrian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
