History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Pelaios lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
