History: Born to a Navigator, her father struggled to pay the bills. Herleva was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Cartwright. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now owns his own business.
