History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Tarhun took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Map Maker, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She tends to her Healer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
