Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Faral was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Faral's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears yellow robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a nunchaku, but if one is not available he will default to his kukri. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: She is a pot bellied western woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her eyes are likewise brown. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Oriff is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Oriff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are hazel.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Masseuse. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is her passion.
