History: Markosian was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Vistra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She struck the Miner job and began her own company from there.
