History: Bolhild was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She found a children's book about a Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
