Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Paelias is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dilettante for hire.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has gold crest. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Pandjed alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Description: This man is dressed in earthy colors with a black and white handkerchief worn on his left side. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His green crest is thinning but still full. His red eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: She is a mite stocky and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her sai with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She sports black long hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Mara was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mara was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
