Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Saphara was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and many gnolls want her driven away

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Stableman. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in the south to a Stableman, Eberdeb learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He wears red painted combat armor at almost all times. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is content; and to find somewhere to settle down
