History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Barber, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away.
