History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Purban alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
