History: Born to a Miller, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eberdeb grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Gnome Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
