Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Revenge; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Half-Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many green ritualistic tattoos. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Ernest is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: She wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a greatsword, but if one is not available she will default to her shield. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her silver hair is knotted and matted. Her eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Crown-heir but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He carries with him a set of shortspears, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His ears are large.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nybarg grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends
