Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Torz was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: Avice hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Marshal profession.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is unsatisfied with her job
