History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Manea alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to end her boredom

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She worked as a nervous Engraver and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
