Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His auburn hair is cut short. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Miles reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and regain custody of her son

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she wears suspenders and pastel workpants. Her shirt is grey, and she wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. Her lavender fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep copper.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Harvest grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is her passion
