History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Ortegar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Elaim was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elaim grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elaim. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and to share knowledge with the world
