Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She worked as a nervous Fortune-teller and found it very stressful. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
