His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has achieved small success as a Farmer.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Butcher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Body Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and further expansion of business
