History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Engong was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born in the north to a Navigator, Susannah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. After a long history of fighting, Susannah and her spouse have recently divorced.
