History: She was born in a small island village. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Halflings. Her skin is dark but she possesses many green ritualistic tattoos. She wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. Her hair is auburn and very short. Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Merla is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Merla was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Tanner business.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
