Description: She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She is physically well-built. Her long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Birel was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. During her travels, Birel and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Birel discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Birel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is typically in his Carter uniform. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His eyes are silver and beady.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He uses divination through singing.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
