Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Shadow was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Shadow alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Shadow was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Fragrant was born with her father's beautiful face. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She now owns her own business.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses like a well dressed Locksmith does. His hair is long and brown with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
