History: Born in the north to a Unemployed, Orryn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
