He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Shamil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She tends to her Soapmaker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
