Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gnarsh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Ilanis reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fisher they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Courier, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
