Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She receives visions of the future at random moments

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She found a children's book about a Halfling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion
