History: Baern hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Courier. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Olrok alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Unvera was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. A true patriot, Xappan would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
