History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nelkin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nelkin. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Lerissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Balam was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
