History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Orla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her painting dream.
