History: Damien lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his son

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance.
