Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Claira was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Layabout but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a grey deerstalker hat and grey clothes. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and money/treasure
