Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Dyer profession.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and further expansion of business

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a grey coat over a white low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Thomas reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
