History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His crest is green and curly. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: This man is very fat, and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Halander lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
