History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears suspenders and green workpants. Her shirt is tan, and she wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. Her hair is cut close to her head. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Kali abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect her home

Description: This malnourished woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her black hair is still thick. Her eyes are violet and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting giants, the young Murook began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she desires power and/or immortality
