Description: This dark-skinned female wears a white cloak and cross-gartered red stockings. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her silver hair is matted, messy, and big. Her blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alain grew up listening to her mother's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Alain took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is her passion; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. She works hard and plays hard.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is a Unemployed first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
