Through the years after Shaena was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shaena's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
