History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Purban was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Purban's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mumpena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
